Bouncing ball first pass...sorta

So here's the first pass at my bouncing ball- I just wanted to see if I could duplicate what Don did in class, so I used the same timing and tried to imitate the spacing. I think, in addition to my lumpy ball drawing, there are some shooting issues, because I tried to shoot this at home, at night, with a camera clamped to a table.  The resulting images were skewed, which I sorta fixed in Photoshop, but you can see from how the pegs dance around at the bottom of the screen that it didn't totally work.  I'm going to scan in my next go 'round.  I think that'll be more reliable.

Where you guys at?

  1. Nice first try! :) It looks a little like it's strobing right before it hits and at the beginning on the way back up. The spacing of the ball may be a little far apart in those couple frames. Then again, the blogger video function isn't very forgiving. This week ended up being one of those weeks. Working on the ball bounce at the moment. Thank you for posting Don's onto the blog.

  2. Looking at it again, it may need a drawing of the extended ball barely still in contact with the ground, heading back to the air.
